Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
The Flint Chimney Co Alpharetta Guarantee
When we leave your house in Alpharetta, we want you to feel the same way about the work as we do. Here’s the promise in plain terms: every repair we make carries a written guarantee that’s valid for one full year from the service date. If a covered repair fails within that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. No arguments, no invoice, no fine print you have to squint at. We put that in writing before we leave because that’s how Hank Delano has run Flint Chimney Co since 2002. A clean, safe chimney every time, or we haven’t finished the job.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair, for a full year. If we fixed it and our fix didn’t hold, we return and make it right at no cost. That promise is written into every repair invoice, not implied.
- Parts and materials we install. We work with chimney products from brands you can look up yourself: DuraFlex, HeatShield, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield. If a part we installed fails within the guarantee period, that’s on us to replace, not on you.
- Cleanup after the work. A chimney sweep isn’t done until your hearth, floors, and surrounding area look the way they did when we arrived. We lay down protection before we start and we don’t leave soot footprints on the way out.
- On-time arrival, with a heads-up if we’re running late. You get a background-checked, uniformed technician on every call. No mystery vehicles, no wondering who’s at the door.
- Honest pricing, in writing, before work starts. This is non-negotiable at Flint Chimney Co. The number on the invoice is the number you approved. Every job, every time, no exceptions.
- A free second visit if a covered repair fails. Not a discounted return trip, not a “we’ll take a look” conversation. We come back at no charge, no argument.

Our Satisfaction Promise
If you’re not satisfied with the work we did in your Alpharetta home, here’s exactly what happens. You call (762) 600-1468. A live person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because your chimney doesn’t stop mattering at 5 p.m. or on weekends. You explain what’s not right. We schedule a return visit on our clock, not yours, and we don’t charge you for it if the problem is something we did or failed to do.
We don’t expect you to take our word that a repair is needed or that a sweep was thorough. That’s why we use camera inspection before and after the work. You’ll see what we see inside the flue. If you’re not satisfied a sweep got the buildup out, we’ll show you the video and make it right. If a repair isn’t holding up, we fix it under the guarantee. Hank Delano has operated this company for over two decades on a simple calculation: a return visit costs us far less than a customer who can’t trust the work. The 365-Day Done Right Promise exists because we’d rather put it in writing than argue about it later.

AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
Paper promises mean something only if the company behind them is real and accountable. Flint Chimney Co Alpharetta is a licensed and insured chimney service company operating as part of the Garrison Partners family of independently owned chimney service companies. That means we answer to the state of Georgia’s licensing requirements, and we carry insurance because working on chimneys involves fire, masonry, and equipment you should never face alone.
The licensed and insured backing isn’t a marketing line. It’s the layer of accountability behind the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the workmanship guarantee is what we stand behind, the license and insurance are what stand behind us. For the homeowner, that means if something goes wrong, there’s a real company with real coverage and a real owner: Hank Delano, who’s been accountable to Alpharetta homeowners since 2002. You know who’s walking through the door, you know the company they represent, and you know the paperwork that backs the promise.
What The Guarantee Means In Practice
Here’s a common scenario. We come out to a home in Alpharetta, inspect the flue, and find cracking in the existing clay liner. We recommend a flue relining job, which means replacing the inner liner that channels smoke and gases safely out of the house. We write up the price with the specific material specified: a DuraFlex liner, for example. You approve it. We install it. The written guarantee says that installation is covered for a full year. If the liner we installed fails in any way within that year, we return and fix it at no charge.
Another scenario: we do a standard chimney sweep and you notice creosote dust on the mantel three days later. Call us. A live person answers. We make it right. We don’t split hairs about whether it’s technically our responsibility. If it’s cleaner or safer because we came back, we’d rather spend the hour than lose your trust. That’s the whole structure of The Garrison Standard that our company and the Garrison Partners family operate under: a uniform benchmark for how the work is done, how the home is treated, and how a problem is handled. The Garrison Code is the shorter version we hand to every new technician: be on time, be honest about what’s needed, and don’t leave until the job is done right.
Why We Put It In Writing
Most chimney companies in the Atlanta metro area don’t want to hand you a written guarantee on repair work because it creates a paper trail. We want the paper trail. That’s the whole point. If we’re not confident enough in the repair to guarantee it for a year in writing, we shouldn’t be doing it on your chimney. Hank Delano’s approach from day one has been to treat every chimney like it’s attached to a house where someone will light a fire in December and trust that the system works like it’s supposed to.
That’s the difference between a handshake and a written guarantee. A handshake fades. A written year-long promise with a free return visit included is something you can hold us to. We want you to hold us to it, because that’s what keeps us good at this after twenty-plus years of service in the Alpharetta area.
One more thing worth saying directly: nothing we recommend is something you have to take on faith. Every repair recommendation is backed by camera evidence you can see for yourself. If it can safely wait, we’ll tell you it can wait. If it can’t wait, we’ll show you why on the screen and put the price on paper before anything is scheduled. That’s not a separate policy. That’s what the guarantee means before we even touch a tool.
