Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Meet the Alpharetta Team Behind Flint Chimney Co Alpharetta
Flint Chimney Co Alpharetta runs on a simple idea: a chimney is a safety system, not a decoration. The crew we’ve assembled in Alpharetta brings backgrounds in masonry, HVAC, and general contracting, which matters when a “simple sweep” turns into a cracked flue liner or a water-damaged crown. What unites us is that we all write our prices down before touching a ladder, and we all stand behind the 365-Day Done Right Promise. Hank Delano, Owner, set that standard in 2002, and every technician who wears the Flint uniform in Alpharetta has agreed to it too.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been sweeping and inspecting chimneys in north Fulton County for over a decade. He’s certified in CSIA inspection standards and handles the bulk of our Level 2 camera inspections, which is where a lot of Atlanta-area chimneys reveal hidden surprises. Marcus is the guy who’ll show you the video feed and explain, in plain English, whether that hairline crack inside the flue is a fix-now problem or a keep-an-eye-on-it problem. He lives in Roswell and spends his weekends restoring a 1978 Chevy pickup, one body panel at a time.
Elena S. – Senior Installer
Elena leads our repair and relining work, specializing in flue relining (replacing the inner liner that channels smoke safely out of the house). She’s hands-on with DuraFlex and HeatShield systems and has completed hundreds of relines across Alpharetta, Milton, and Johns Creek. Before joining Flint, Elena worked residential framing, so she understands how a chimney ties into the house structure, not just the firebox. If your chimney has a water leak, Elena is probably the one tracing it back to the flashing or crown. She keeps a sketchbook in the truck and draws out every repair so homeowners see exactly what we’re proposing before any work begins.
Denise R. – Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice you’ll likely hear when you call (762) 600-1468. She’s been with the Garrison Partners family of chimney companies for six years and knows the Alpharetta service area block by block. Denise builds the daily route, confirms each appointment, and makes sure every homeowner has a written price in hand before the tech starts work. She’s the reason our live-person phone coverage actually means a live person, whether you call at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday or 11 p.m. on a holiday. Denise lives in Cumming with her two rescue dogs, and she can quote our flat pricing from memory without looking at a sheet.
Tyrell B. – Apprentice
Tyrell is our newest team member, a year into his chimney training after a career shift from restaurant management. He’s learning inspection protocol under Marcus and liner prep under Elena, and he handles tool staging, rooftop safety rigging, and job site cleanup with an attention to detail you’d expect from someone who ran a kitchen. Tyrell is working through his certification coursework now, and every job he touches is supervised by a background-checked lead technician. He grew up in Alpharetta and still plays basketball at the Wills Park courts on Thursday nights.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Flint Chimney Co Alpharetta technician works under what we call The Garrison Standard: a written price delivered before any work starts, a uniformed and background-checked professional on site, and professional-grade materials specified by the job, not by what’s sitting on the truck. The Garrison Code is the part they all sign onto: if a covered repair fails within one full year, we come back and make it right at no charge, no argument. Marcus, Elena, Tyrell, and every other technician in the network share one job site language: written first, camera evidence second, honest advice third. When a repair can safely wait, we say so. When it can’t, we show you why on the camera before a single brick is touched. That consistency is what makes an Alpharetta homeowner’s call to (762) 600-1468 work the same way every time.
